Location - Jeseníky - Rejvíz
Rejvíz, the highest settlement in the Jeseníky Mountains, is situated at an altitude of over 700 metres and is famous for its extensive peat bog and the Great Moss Lake. This picturesque locality with traditional wooden cottages retains its unique mountain character, which is underlined by the surrounding unspoilt nature. The Rejvíz peat bog, the largest of its kind in Moravia, is accessible via a nature trail leading to the lake, whose mysterious atmosphere is shrouded in tales of goblins. The surrounding forests and hills offer opportunities for hiking and cycling, while in winter the area is popular with cross-country skiers.
